Mysterious Instagram egg photo destroys Kylie Jenner's record

The 21-year-old's most-liked photo has officially been upended thanks to a picture of an egg. Yes, a regular stock image of a brown egg.
 
On January 4th a mysterious account was made, with only one picture of an egg, the caption read "Let's set a world record together and get most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record holder Kylie Jenner (18 million). We got this!". On January 8th it already had a surprising amount of  9 million likes,finally the record being beaten on January 10th. And growing bigger each day, now holding 24 million likes.


 Kylie Jenner responded to the post by sharing a video caption take "That little egg" where she cracked the shell on the sidewalk and watched it bubble and become a rather unorthodox sunny-side up egg.

The egg photo may have her beat by 2 million likes, but can this food item consider itself one of the world's wealthiest celebrities? Didn't think so.
